Refurbished KUKA Robots – Premium Industrial Arms 150-500kg

This is not a general collection of second-hand robots from multiple unknown sources. Every unit in our current inventory comes from a single, verified German automotive manufacturing facility that is closing production. The robots have a known operational history, conservative runtime hours of 4,000–10,000 (rated service life: 60,000+ hours), and are being offered with a 1-year mechanical warranty from the seller.

All units are equipped with the KUKA KRC4 Controller — the most advanced, most widely supported controller KUKA has produced — ensuring long-term programmability, protocol compatibility with all major PLC systems, and access to KUKA's WorkVisual development environment.

InStock International is responsible for the India-side sale and commercial facilitation. Any mechanical component from the robot arm — joint housings, flanges, structural arm segments — can be manufactured in-house by our precision machining partners, giving buyers in India a genuine local mechanical support pathway.

KUKA ROBOT APPLICATIONS

KUKA KR Series robots are purpose-built for demanding, continuous-duty industrial applications across heavy manufacturing sectors.

Automotive Body Welding

Spot welding and MIG welding on automotive body panels, sub-assemblies, and chassis components — high repeatability and weld path accuracy.

Heavy Payload Palletising

End-of-line palletising for heavy industrial products — 150–500 kg payload range enables single-robot palletising for large cartons, sacks, and structural components.

Machine Tending & CNC Loading

Automated part loading and unloading for CNC machining centres, press brakes, injection moulding machines, and industrial presses.

Press Shop Automation

Transfer and handling operations within metal stamping lines — fast cycle times, high payload, and high repeatability required for press shop environments.

Material Handling & Transfer

Component transfer, bin picking, and assembly line material logistics — eliminating manual handling of heavy or ergonomically challenging industrial parts.

Foundry & Casting Part Extraction

Hot-end part extraction from aluminium die casting, gravity casting, and forging lines — where human operators cannot safely work at production speed.

AVAILABLE MODELS — CURRENT INVENTORY

KEY SPECIFICATIONS — WHAT EVERY UNIT INCLUDES

01. 4,000–10,000 Runtime Hours

All units in our inventory have been operated for between 4,000 and 10,000 hours — well within the rated service life of 60,000+ hours. This leaves substantial operational life for the new owner with appropriate periodic maintenance.

02. KUKA KRC4 Controller — Included

Every unit ships with the KUKA KRC4 Controller — compatible with EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and DeviceNet. Supports KUKA WorkVisual programming environment. The most capable and widely supported KUKA controller platform globally.

03. 1-Year Mechanical Warranty

Each unit carries a 1-year mechanical warranty from the German seller at time of sale — covering mechanical integrity of the robot arm structure and joint assemblies. Full documentation of operational history provided.

04. In-House Mechanical Parts Manufacturing

Any mechanical component from the KUKA KR Series arm can be manufactured locally by our precision machining partners — joint housings, flange components, arm structural elements. No dependency on European OEM spare parts supply for mechanical components.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Clear answers to common questions about our KUKA robot inventory, condition, warranty, and purchase process.

All units in our current inventory are sourced from a single German automotive manufacturing facility that is closing its production operations. This is not a mixed-source auction lot — these are documented robots from a single verified origin, with known operational history and consistent maintenance records from their operating life in an automotive production environment.

KUKA KR Series robots are rated for 60,000+ hours of service life under standard operating conditions. A unit with 8,000 hours of runtime has used approximately 13% of its rated service life — the equivalent of a car with 15,000 km on a 120,000 km engine. With appropriate periodic maintenance (grease replacement, axis calibration, cable inspection), these units will provide many years of reliable production service.

Every unit includes the KUKA KRC4 Controller — KUKA's most advanced and widely supported control platform. The KRC4 supports KUKA WorkVisual programming software, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and DeviceNet communication protocols — ensuring compatibility with any modern PLC, SCADA, or MES system.

InStock International facilitates the India-side commercial transaction. Installation, programming, and commissioning are the buyer's responsibility — or can be arranged through a local KUKA system integrator. We recommend buyers identify a qualified KUKA integrator in their region before purchase. Our team is available to provide technical documentation to support the integration process.
